For the month of May a whole host of activities will be celebrated around the county as part of
Mayo month. On May 21st Ballinrobe Racecourse will host a festival of running on the ambulance
track with a running distance for all to enjoy. The 1 mile (1.6km) smooth oval tarmac track provides
the perfect traffic free location for a day that the whole family can enjoy.
McHale’s the farm machinery experts are sponsoring the event so all finishers will get a special
commissioned finisher gift to mark their achievement.

in developing and manufacturing the world’s best farm machinery is a fitting example of why everyone
should celebrate Mayo day.

for this year’s Mayo day festival. This event has something to offer for all ages and levels
of running from half marathon to 5k’s and kids races! Ballinrobe Racecourse is a fantastic
facility and should allow for an excellent event on May 21st.”
