Sign on at The McWilliam Park Hotel, Kilcolman Rd, Claremorris from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday evening December 27th and again on Thursday morning from 8.00 am to 10.00 am, watch out for the sign on signs.
At sign-on you will collect 2 numbers one to be worn on the front of your jersey or top (use pins), the other number is a sticker that should be to be put on your bike, which will help us in transition in case someone tries to take your bike.
There is a HUGE crowd signed up (over 450 participants) so allow time to get signed in and collect your bits.
The Transition area will be open from 8.30 am at the car park playground on the Ballinrobe road (it is located beside Mac Mahon Park) 1km from sign on and 500 m from the race start area.
When parking your car, it is advised to park at the Train Station or the Carpark at the back of the Square (Super value). Just follow the signs and the marshals as we want to keep the Transition area free from traffic.
Make sure your wheels are pumped and your bike is in good working order, have your spare tube fitted to your bike and make sure you have at least one full water bottle filled and fitted. Remember if you are changing shoes in transition leave them there, your helmet must be left in transition also.
The transition area will be dismantled by 12.15pm so make sure to collect all your belongings before this time.
Allow enough time to jog back to the start area.
